A Season for Grace

We ADHD-ers often excel at offering grace to those around us.

And…its easy to overlook the grace we need to give ourselves as we navigate the neuro-typical world and its expectations.

The expectations we might put on ourselves can create disappointment, frustration, overwhelm -well, if you have adhd, you probably know what I mean.

Its important to give grace to ourselves. We’re doing hard things. And, its important to honor the gifts that our ADHD can bring to the world around us: dynamism, creativity, courage, resilience, humanity.

Doing hard things to “keep up” can wear us out.

So in the season of blessings and grace, give yourself grace to do what you need to nurture your Self through whatever challenges you face.
